Delivery Charges

All our prices include VAT - The price you see is the price you pay. We charge £5.82 (£4.95+vat) for delivery, for most orders to ENGLAND Mainland. Heavier items are charged at 30p/kg extra or at a fixed charge. (Please email your requirements, for carriage charges to be delivered to Ireland, Scotland or overseas before completing your transaction.) Delivery charges are calculated and shown clearly, before you give your payment details. Larger items are sent on a next working day delivery service. Smaller items may be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery. To calculate your shipping charges, please add the items to your basket and proceed to checkout. Your shipping charges will be shown clearly, before you complete your order. We endeavour to despatch all orders within 24-48 hours, subject to stock. Larger items, such as fish tanks may take 10-14 days for delivery, but you will be notfied of this at checkout. Some orders may be despatched direct from the manufacturers or importers, under our arrangement, with the same delivery terms. If any items are out of stock, we will inform you of an estimated delivery date and you will be given the option of cancelling your order or waiting until that date. Postage and packaging is charged per delivery address and will endeavour to ensure that the products are delivered to the address specified by you and by the delivery dates estimated by us.

Payment

We accept all major credit and debit cards thru the 'PROTX' secure payment provider, and also cheques, however when paying by cheque, goods are despatched on clearance of your cheque.

Descriptions

We have tried to be as accurate as possible with our images, sizes and specifications and descriptions of goods for sale on our website. However, manufacturers sometimes make small changes to their products and photographs and especially colours of items may vary slightly to that shown. All dimensions are approximate.

Returns

We offer a 7 day money back guarantee. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return the goods in their original condition for a full refund of the purchase price. You will however, be responsible for the actual cost of carriage in sending the goods to you and in returning them to us.

Missed Deliveries

If you miss a delivery that has been attempted by our carriers, a card will be left with the phone number of the carrier's depot that is nearest to you. You MUST contact the depot within 5 days to arrange re-delivery. If you do not contact the depot, your goods are automatically returned to us by the carriers. We have to pay the carriers for this return. As such, we have to charge £8.95 to re-send the goods back to you. We regret to charge this, but this only partially covers our costs of return and re-sending. PLEASE contact your local depot if you miss your delivery!

Defective Items

You can always return items if they are defective. We must be notified within 24 hours of the delivery date if any items have arrived damaged. Faulty or defective items should be returned to us in their original packaging and we will exchange them for new items by return, subject to the items being currently in stock. If the items are not in stock and you do not wish to wait, we will be happy to refund you in full. We cannot be held responsible for damage caused to an item by the customer, for example whilst assembling a tank etc. It is important to note that items found not to be faulty will be returned to you and carriage charged and items found to have customer damage will incur a repair charge.
